Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were a bit tired and in need of some improvement, which should reflect in the pricing. Despite feeling stuffy, the rooms did have a fan. The service was outstanding, with very polite and attentive staff. The location was convenient, being on the seafront and close to all amenities. The dining experience was good overall, with improvements noted in breakfast quality.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were perfect, equipped with everything we could need, including a tiny robe and a rubber duck for our son. The extra easy chair in the bedroom was a nice touch. However, the room wasn't ready upon my arrival, and it was pretty cold initially.
The Grand in Eastbourne exceeded my expectations in various aspects. The rooms, compared to other five-star chain hotels worldwide, were more than satisfactory for a one-night stay, being well furnished, quiet, and equipped with all necessary amenities. However, the internal view across lower floor roofs with debris and deceased pigeons was off-putting.
Celebrated my elderly parents' 60th wedding anniversary in this lovely hotel. The rooms were wonderful, spacious, and a great value, but there was some noise. The service was attentive and cosmopolitan, with excellent bar food. The location was superb on the seafront, although a bit crowded at times. The dining experience was generally good, although service was a tad slow. A buffet was well presented. The facilities were satisfying overall.
